Thank you, Japan! [Nov. 16th, 2012|06:18 pm]
Robin Bougie

You know what I love? When comic book art is used as packaging. Don't see it too often, but when I do I get real giddy.

Not gonna drink this, though. Second ingredient is saccharine. Gross. Love the pretty can, though!

At a place here in Vancouver called Daiso. They import in Japanese housewares and various sundries. There is a small candy and snack section, and it was in there!

There are two of them! One in Richmond (just a block from the skytrian) in Aberdeen mall. And one in International Village Mall downtown (downstairs from where TinsilTown Theaters are).

It's interesting that the can looks straight off the shelf -- in the States, it would need to have importer, ingredient & inspection markings all over it!

Does the store carry the many varieties of Kit-Kat bars made in Japan? http://www.cracked.com/article_18895_7-things-from-america-that-are-insanely-popular-overseas.html

There was an importer ingredient list sticker on it, I pulled it off because you couldn't see the art properly.

No, sadly their candy section is very small. One little shelf.
